Privacy policy

Controller. Agenteze (https://agenteze.com), operating JobDistill at https://jobdistill.com. Contact: support@jobdistill.com.

What we collect. Your email address and password hash (or Google account identity if you sign in with Google); the resume file you upload and the profile we derive from it (seniority, domains, skills, locations); the search criteria you set; the matches we generate and your actions on them; payment records from Razorpay or Stripe (we never see your card or UPI details); and standard product analytics (pages visited, features used) via PostHog.

Why. To score job openings against your resume and brief you about them, to run your subscription, and to understand which parts of the product work. We do not sell, rent or share your resume or profile with employers, recruiters, data brokers or anyone else.

Processors. Groq (scoring, receives resume text and job descriptions), Razorpay and Stripe (payments), Zoho ZeptoMail (transactional email such as your morning briefing), PostHog (analytics), Google (optional sign-in), and our hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs for its function.

Retention and deletion. Data is kept while your account exists. Email support@jobdistill.com to delete your resume or your whole account; we do it within 7 days and confirm. One-click deletion from Settings is in the next release. Deletion is immediate in the live database; backups expire within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights. Ask us at any time for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, by email to support@jobdistill.com. We answer within 7 days.

Cookies. One session cookie to keep you signed in, and PostHog's analytics cookie. No advertising cookies.
